Each slip has four elastic loops at the hemline; one at the front center, one on the left, one on fht right and one on the back center of the slip.  When the slip / pump pocket is folded up and under, the four elastic loops line up with four buttons on the inside of the slip, about halfway between the waistline and hemline.
